Nazeem Hasan M.A. CCC-SLP

Nazeem Hasan is originally from the DC Metropolitan area but currently lives in Miami, FL. She obtained both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Hampton University in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Nazeem has approximately 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings. Her clinical background is diverse and includes a wide range of communication challenges.

Nazeem's favorite part about being a speech-language pathologist is building relationships with clients and helping them reach their communication goals, whether in therapeutic activities or through coaching and advocacy. Nazeem's goal is to provide evidence-based practice and tailored therapy plans that are individualized to meet each client's needs. Moreover, she strives to create a positive clinical environment where clients feel respected and valued. Nazeem focuses on maintaining a healthy mind and body throughout her activities to provide the best speech and language therapy to her clients.

Nazeem is passionate about working with individuals from multicultural backgrounds and is an expert in African American Vernacular English (AAVE).

Nazeem is licensed in Florida, Georgia, California, Maryland, and Texas and has her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

In her free time, she enjoys performing bike stunts, martial arts, Zumba, and pilates!
