The sounds and speaking patterns you learned in your first language shape how you pronounce English. Many of our clients speak English fluently but find certain sounds or patterns get in the way at work or in conversation, like having to repeat themselves on calls or in meetings. Your Accent Is Part of Who You Are
Our goal is to help you be easily understood while still sounding the way you want. Most clients focus on the sounds, word stress, and intonation of American English that matter most in their work and daily lives. Depending on your goals, sessions can also cover your voice and the words you use most at work. For presentation and public speaking skills, see our communication coaching.
Our accent trainers are certified in accent modification and are also licensed speech-language pathologists.
Because your trainer is also a speech-language pathologist, they know how each sound is made and how to teach it. That means they can identify the sounds and patterns to work on and show you how to practice them.
How the Program Works
THOROUGH ASSESSMENT
We start by asking what you want to change. Then we record your speech, transcribe it, and analyze the sounds and patterns of American English.
CUSTOMIZED GOAL & PLAN
Your trainer uses the assessment results to build your training plan and reviews your progress with you during the program.
ONE-ON-ONE TRAINING
In private, one-on-one sessions, you work with your trainer on the sounds and speaking patterns identified in your assessment.

Accent training works best if you already speak English at an intermediate to advanced level and use it comfortably every day. This is not a general English class. Accent training focuses on pronunciation and speaking patterns, not on teaching you English.

As a part of your assessment, you will record words, sentences, and speech samples. We transcribe and analyze your speech to identify the sounds and patterns to work on, then use the results and your goals to plan your training.

Programs run from 8 to 30 weeks, based on your assessment. You get one-on-one sessions, a weekly practice plan with feedback from your trainer, and online access to practice materials. Progress depends on regular sessions and practice between them. Your trainer reviews your progress with you along the way, and you decide together when you have reached your goals.

The accent assessment is $175, and 60-minute training sessions are $150 each. Prepaid packages are also available. See accent training rates.

We meet live on Zoom. All you need is a computer or tablet, an internet connection, and a quiet space. Your trainer shares practice materials on your screen, and you can see their mouth up close as they demonstrate how to make each sound. There is no travel, and you practice in your own everyday setting.

Begin with your accent assessment. Then your one-on-one live online sessions start, usually once a week. Most clients begin within one week of their consultation, depending on scheduling.

Free call: The phone consultation is free and takes about 15 minutes.
Cost: If you decide to get started, the accent assessment is $175. Training sessions are 60 minutes at $150 each, or you can save with a prepaid package of 10, 20, or 30 sessions. There are no long-term contracts, and you can stop at any time. See accent training rates.
Where we work: We offer accent training across the U.S. and in many other countries.
Scheduling: Most clients meet once a week for 60 minutes. Daytime and evening session times are available.
Paying through work: Many clients use employer professional-development funds. We provide itemized invoices and program documentation.
