Jessica Sharon, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a Speech-Language Pathologist with over 12 years of experience working with adults and children in various settings. She obtained her Bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her Master's degree from New York Medical College.
Jessica uses a holistic approach to maximize her clients' skills and confidence. She specializes in communication coaching, accent modification and evaluating/treating speech/articulation, language, fluency, cognitive/executive functioning, pragmatic (social), and voice disorders using the latest evidence-based research. Jessica is passionate about sharing knowledge, with experience speaking at national conferences, teaching as an adjunct professor, and mentoring graduate student clinicians.
Jessica is licensed in New York and New Jersey and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
Jessica is a certified accent coach. She enjoys targeting language skills, cross-cultural understanding, and teaching clear and natural speaking patterns, advanced business communication strategy, and public speaking skills. In addition to providing individual therapy, maximizing speech, language, and cognitive skills, she's also well-versed in leading group therapy for patients with aphasia, their caregivers, and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders. She is certified in the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT), SPEAK OUT! & LOUD Crowd programs for individuals with Parkinson's Disease.
Jessica lives in New Jersey and loves traveling, learning new languages, practicing mindfulness/meditation, and exercising in her free time.
