Inga Hyatt

Inga Hyatt M.S. CCC-SLP

Inga Hyatt received her BFA in Acting from Ohio University and has performed as a singer and actress since age 5. She moved to London, where she spent five years working as an actress and a television writer/producer for networks such as BBC and ITV, where she championed the show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and assisted on The Prince’s Trust Royal Gala Performance. Inga continued her career in New York, performing on stage and screen. As a writer/producer, she has conducted red-carpet interviews and produced live events for clients such as Jazz at Lincoln Center and Fox Sports. Then Inga transitioned into corporate and nonprofit communications, helping c-suite executives craft Board of Director presentations, writing press releases, and client pitches while continuing to coach and direct on-camera talent independently.

After 20 years in television, media, and communications, Inga decided to make a career shift and obtained her MS in Communication Disorders from SUNY New Paltz. Her work has focused on early language development and sensory feeding for children ages 0-3, providing services throughout the Hudson Valley of New York. She has also provided stuttering and cluttering therapy for children and adults, gender-affirming voice care, and communication coaching for professionals.

Thanks to her extensive performance, communications, and media background, Inga brings a unique perspective to her role as a speech-language pathologist. She works with clients to develop public speaking skills, helps talent build their brand and follow through with vocal training and script work, crafts presentations, creates strategies for networking, conducts interview coaching, and helps individuals achieve their personal and professional goals. Her innovative approach and deep expertise set her apart in her field.

She is passionate about helping people find their voice. Online voice therapy has enabled people to access care they may have difficulty obtaining locally. Inga has found this a rewarding aspect of her career, combining her love of voice therapy with her support of the LGBTQIA+ community. Inga is licensed in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York.

In her spare time, Inga enjoys hiking and swimming and continues to act and make independent films.
