Amanda

Amanda was raised in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Boone, NC, and earned her degrees from Appalachian State University. She holds a B.A. in Psychology, a B.S. in Communication Disorders, and an M.A. in Speech Pathology.

With over two decades of experience, Amanda brings a flexible and thoughtful approach to her work as a speech therapist and communication coach. She values helping clients of all ages strengthen their communication skills in ways that feel practical and meaningful to their lives. She especially enjoys working collaboratively with families and partners to support lasting progress outside of sessions.

Amanda holds licenses in North Carolina, Oregon, California, and Tennessee, and she has her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

She currently lives in Sevierville, TN, with her youngest son. Her older son is attending college in Boone, NC. In her free time, Amanda enjoys reading, baking bread, spending time outdoors, and relaxing with family and a good Netflix series.
