LSVT LOUD for Pediatric Motor Speech Disorders

The results of LSVT in children with spastic cerebral palsy and dysarthria has been researched and shown to improve vocal quality, loudness and speech clarity. These improved communication skills can lead to improvements in the child’s ability to be understood at home, on the telephone. It can also building confidence to initiate or participate in conversations at with family and friends. Unexpected positive side effects include physiological effects, and neurobiological changes.  I am proud to be LSVT certified and can provide more information about delivering LSVT to your child.
